Open House at Merrehope

Step inside the beautiful and historic Merrehope during a special Open House on Sunday, October 11, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. The doors will be open to the public, offering guests a wonderful opportunity to explore the stunning 20-room mansion, including the original cottage.

Discover the latest restoration progress and learn how you can be part of the “We’re In This Together” Community Chain, an effort to help restore and preserve Merrehope for generations to come.

Be sure to see the Merrehope Tree, recently refreshed from top to bottom and looking more beautiful than ever. The tree features its collection of original handmade decorations from the 1970s, adding a special touch of history and nostalgia to the season.

And don’t miss the popular Holiday Pop-Up Sale, featuring an assortment of new and vintage Christmas decorations as well as other holidays — a perfect opportunity to get a head start on your holiday shopping.

The Open House is also a great time to become a Friend of Merrehope, learn more about volunteer opportunities, and discover ways to help support the preservation of this treasured local landmark.

Come explore, celebrate, and be part of Merrehope’s story. We look forward to welcoming you!
